BORBS is the Aviary Ensemble of Philadelphia. Their debut album Motivic Consciousness presents an environmentally focused form of improvisation heavy on kinetic momentum and the grandeur of watery reflections as well as the tastiness of the fish that lay beneath it. This performance (recorded live) is an example par excellence of a new style of performance emerging out of Philadelphia and the musicians within a nascent organization called the People's Music Supply. At its center is virtuosity, space, communication, an invitation towards many simple beauties occurring multitudinally.

Concurrency and the many open spirals, which direction is each, there is no knowing these curls in any other way than a singular texture- the point at which another point is a point because of its relation, never taking away from the tactility of individual souls, can you hear that?
It is just a keep on becoming, keep on thriving, our eyes and the ears of our skulls are attuned to the many predations, to our own hunting, just as they are the exquisite design that connects consciousness to impulse. Aware of the seeds, aware of the flight, aware of the sap and automatic nutrients which it sustains and in which in turn sustains us, so that we may for a moment- trust.
The quandary of our existence, the humiliation and degradation, the watery reflection, that the only answers are corporeal, and only satisfaction distinctly, INTER.
